Tool Approval

JijZept AI now gives you full control over when the AI executes tools. You can review each tool call before it runs, or choose to skip the approval step when you want a faster workflow.

Review and Approve Tool Executions

When the AI needs to use a tool — such as the modeling tool, job submission, or data loading — a confirmation dialog appears showing the tool name and the reason for the request. You can then:

  • Approve to let the tool execute
  • Decline to stop the execution and ask the AI to take a different approach

Use cases:

  • Verify the AI is using the correct tool before it runs a long optimization job
  • Decline and redirect the AI when it misinterprets your intent
  • Review tool parameters before executing actions that modify your data

Choose Your Approval Mode

A new dropdown in the composer toolbar lets you switch between two modes:

  • Confirm (default): The AI asks for your approval before each tool execution. Best when you want full visibility and control.
  • Skip approval: Tools execute immediately without a confirmation dialog. Best when you trust the AI's tool choices and want faster iteration.

You can switch modes at any time during a conversation.

Get Started

  1. Start a conversation with JijZept AI
  2. When a tool approval dialog appears, click Approve or Decline
  3. To skip future approvals, open the dropdown next to the send button and select Skip approval
